Please join me on Wednesday, as I host my colleague, Gerard Deltell, one of my party's senior members from Quebec, and our newly named Shadow Minister for the Environment and Climate Change.

I serve with Gerard on the House of Commons Standing Committee on the Environment and Sustainable Development, where we will be working to advance Canada's solutions to decarbonization, and other environmental matters, that are being ignored by our government and other political parties.

This is an important effort, and Gerard is my ally in this work.

He has been my main supporter in ensuring Alberta's contributions to Canada's economy, and our resolute support for our natural resource industry is well-understood amongst our supporters across the country.

He understands our input, and he is looking forward to your comments and questions when he is in Calgary on Wednesday.
